October 21st, 2006 ... Hold Your Ground.

I passed the place where a Citgo Gas Station used to be. The corner of Main and Barrington Road in downtown Barrington is now a parking lot, bulldozed over ... one down, one to go in Barrington, Illinois.

I started doing a little research about the Citgo boycott and learned it started January 31st, 2006. It really kicked into full gear when Venezuela's Hugo Chavez, the tiny DICK-tater with the big mouth, spewed Anti-American rhetoric on our home-turf a few weeks ago.

The presidents approval ratings were sinking, and Chavez thought it was the perfect time to kick him while his ratings were down, ... WRONG! This is America you demented twerp! President Bush's ratings shot up a few point because of the Napoleonic dumb-asses comments.

I remember getting in a fight with my brother when we were kids, ... it was over a bad call in a sandlot baseball game. We were rolling in the dirt by home plate when one of other of the kids on my team took a shot at my brother while we were fighting, .... (screechhhhhh) bad move for that other kid.

That was MY brother, and nobody could touch him except me. My brother and I turned on this other kid and were all over him like "ugly on ape," ... we kicked HIS ass.

Afterward, the kid looked at me with a surprised look in his eyes (and a bloody nose) and yelled; "I was on your side Joe!"

I said; "I know, but don't ever hit my brother." The other kid understood immediately and the game continued.

My brother did the same for me once when the tables were turned.

You see, ... that's America, ... that's what most of us were taught as children, sick-up for your own and that's what Chavez can't understand. He's getting a taste of American loyalty, family and our "freedom of choice."  We don't have to kill you with bombs and bullets, ... we'll just cut your throat by keeping away from you. President Bush is OUR brother.

One of the things I love about Bush is that you haven't heard a word from him concerning loco Hugo, ... President Bush's brothers and sisters are doing the swinging now, ... and it looks like more than a bloody nose. It looks like Citco is going down for the count!

Korea Back's Off

I love the fact that America didn't negotiate with North Korean madman Kim Jong Il. We just stood ready to take him out if "push" came to shove. Now with our sanctions in place and Russia, China and Japan ready to crack down, that "whack-job" has no choice but to back down and apologize.

I heard his speech last night. The best way I could translate it would be as follows; "Dear world, I am so sorry for being a lunatic, ... I'm really, really sorry. I just need attention and sometime I forget that there are about 50 - 60 larger nations in the world than North Korea. I live in a country that makes me think the world revolves around me, of course, ... I made it that way.

Please, keep sending me money and food and I promise never to use nuke's again (
look closely, his finger are crossed.) Ohhh, and I know, I do need a haircut, but everyone around me tells me it looks good. I think that's because they fear for their lives. I realize I really look like I am wearing a British, Buckingham Palace Guards hat!"

Movies

I'm going to see "Flags of our Fathers" tonight. I can't wait to see my baby brother on the silver screen again.
