October 26th, 2006 ... Peter Roskam
Peter Roskam's opponent has the gall to say Peter doesn't understand soldiers and veterans!
I can say from my personal experience, Tammy Duckworth has not done her homework or she is a balled faced liar!
It was Peter Roskam who started "The FDNY Ground Zero Flag Tribute" in 2001 -2002 honoring FDNY firefighters and getting his 6th district involved.
It was Peter Roskam who supported "The 101st Rock Division's" rock and roll tour of Iraq in February of 2004.
It was Peter Roskam who supported the troops in Baghdad, Iraq with his "Voices of America" project in December of 2004.
And it is Peter Roskam who continues to support the troops, ...hell, Peter's father is a purple heart recipient from the Korean War. Tammy, what the hell are you thinking?

You are invited to join Peter Roskam as he welcomes the support of Vietnam Veteran and former POW, US Senator John McCain, Monday, October 30th at 10:00 AM at; Medinah Shriners Banquet Hall, 550 Shriner Lane, Medinah, IL.
The best way to get there if you are in the Chicago-area, would be to take Illinois Route 355 to Army Trail road, exit and then head West, 1/2 block to Swift Road, then North one block to Shriner Lane and right, into the Medinah Shriners Banquet Hall.
All veterans are especially welcome, ... the cost is FREE to everyone.
I'll be there to support the man that has been there for the troops ever since he was a child, ... Peter Roskam. John McCain will be there for the same reason. I'll even sing a song or two, ... (but don't let that keep you away.) This will be a very intimate setting. Meet two great American's, Senator John McCain and soon to be US Congressman Peter Roskam, (I love the sound of that... it sounds like victory!)
I hope to see a lot of you there.

As you know, my brother is one of those who Mr. Roskam fights for. I believe the "Supporting our Troops" phrase when used in the political world is a very fine line. Some politicians use it to better themselves in the political arena. But I know that Joe is speaking from his heart when he says that Mr. Roskam really does support our troops.
In my eyes, Joes word is gold. To all of you in Illinois who are able to vote for Mr. Roskam, don't pass up this opportunity to elect a true patriot into the US Congress. We need more Congressman like Peter Roskam to make sure our brave warriors get all the help and support they need to defend the greatest country on earth. Go out and VOTE. Many heroes over the course of time have died for your right to do so. Don't let them down.
