January 4th 2006 ... Bear Fight Songs Is A Hit! Watch FOX-News WFLD in Chicago tonight!
I have to tell you, I have never had so much fun as I am having with this project. I am so proud to be a part of this project!
Last night Chicago-FOX News (WFLD-TV) came to our rehearsal to film us (lip-syncing, doing our best "Milli Vanilli,") performing, "We Are Who Ya Thought We Were;" the first song on the CD. The video will be on the sports section of the news tonight and may be used during the next few weeks on FOX-Chicago as long as the Bears are still playing football and advancing through the playoffs. Jake and Elwood of the Blooze Brothers (who often perform live at Bears and Bulls games) were part of the music video sessions.
Currently, the CD is available at all Chicagoland Jewel-Osco stores, Amazon.com, www.BearFightSongs.com or just go to the front page (home page) of this website and click on the Bear Fight Songs CD.
We are selling the CD's all over the country as well on Amazon.com and according to Jewel-Osco, they hope to be ordering more very soon. It appears there are Chicago Bears fans everywhere!
Chicago radio stations are starting to play the songs and former Chicago Bear defensive tackle turned TV talkshow host, Dan "The Man" Jiggetts has invited all of us onto his "Chicago Tribune Live" show on Comcast SportsNet next Thursday, January 11th at 5:30 PM to promote and perform some of the songs on the CD.
They are giving us the entire 30-minute slot!
I promise all Bears fans, ... you will love this CD, ... your parents and children and grandchildren will love it too, based on all the positive feedback we are receiving.
Let's pray the injuries don't keep the Bears from the ultimate goal, ... another Super Bowl ring!
