I have been extremely busy for the past week. The creation of The Gear Up International Convention is in full swing. We will have an "official" announcement later this coming week.

Jim VanNatta and I have been working on the 101st Rock Division World Tour and hopefully we will have some exciting announcements about that tour very soon. The band is in full rehearsals and sounding better than ever.

GOLD STAR MOM REACHES OUT

Dear Joe,

Many of us will be in DC for the Gathering of Eagles, to stand for the troops who have been lost, and those that continue the fight. I will be on a caravan from California to DC making stops in major cities to talk to the public. One of my main talking points is just how we can, as individuals support the troops and not just verbalize that we do. Is it just my imagination, or is it a travesty that those we "hired" on Capitol Hill are in Hollywood pimping money to buy the White House? Do they realize that a war is going on?

I hope that people will come out to join us for the "Gathering of Eagles" to really support our troops. The event takes place in DC on March 17th. As the Director of Military Outreach for Move America Forward, I am proud to help stand for what support of the troops really means. AMERICA LOSES A HERO

I received some very sad news over the past week. Charles Maupin, the grandfather of Keith "Matt" Maupin, passed away. Matt is a P.O.W., captured in Iraq in April of 2004.

I promised Keith Sr., (Matt's dad) that Matt's photo will be on display during the 101st Rock Division tour to remind and educate people about his son. That promise will be kept.

Please keep Keith, his son Matt, and Matt's mom Carolyn, in your prayers and please pray that Matt will be released by his insurgent captor's one day soon.
