I was driving through Arlington Heights, Illinois the other day when I came upon a few homes that had signs on the front lawns that read, "Support The Troops, ... End The War."

I know I'm just a musician, but I'm sorry; I could not see the "troops support" in that message. I wonder what the cowardly-pukes who came up with that wimpy slogan were thinking?  Now, I understand the signs that read "Pray For Peace," or "Bring Home The Troops," but how does quitting, support the guys and gals who have been "sweating it out" in 140+ degree-heat for all of us here in the good ol' USA, honor them?

I wanted to return to those homes and place another sign in the lawn that reads "A Wimp Lives Here!"

I talked to a few of my military friends about the weenie-slogan and they just shook their heads, smiled and said, ... "Yea, Joe, we've seen it all."

You will never defeat terrorist-cowards, by quitting. They understand force, ... but history has proven that they love quitters and if any American thinks this will all be over if our troops come home, you haven't a clue about today's enemy or today's world. They will follow the troops to America, and days like September 11th will be a frequent occurrence.

I have an idea, ... how about a sign or a bumper sticker that simply reads, "Support The Troops, ... Win The War."
