POETRY READING ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED AT MCHENRY COUNTY COLLEGE, THURSDAY, DECEMBER 3RD IS CANCELED.

THANK YOU ALL FOR CALLING AND PLANNING TO ATTEND ~ SPECIAL THANKS TO SUPER-PATRIOT & VETERAN-JOE ALGER FOR LETTING ME KNOW ABOUT THIS UNSPEAKABLE ALMOST-EVENT!

The cancellation is obviously a direct response to the uproar created by Joe Alger and his HUGE Patriot network. For those of you who say or might believe we (patriots and Veterans) don't have a voice or can't change things, this same group has won 3 out 3 protests they have been involved in the last year and will continue to be heard and make a difference!.

Below is a response printed in today's Daily Herald  to Marc Falkoff's whinny response to having his Terrorist poetry slam canceled. It's also a slap in the face to MCC student Molly McQueen who organized the Peace Action Network 11-months ago. Thank you American Hero, Sgt .Jason McLoud  for your service and for paying the ultimate price for American freedom and whose memorial visitation will take place a few miles from the school in peace. Your example of patriotism and love of country will shine through tonight without the anti-American events of the Peace Action Network.

Keep posted Patriots, I'm sure little Molly and her small group of anti-American's will try and weasel another anti-American poetry slam soon. We also know Big Joe Alger is watching very closely.

Who ever wrote this piece ... Thanks!

Daily Herald - Thursday, December 3, 2009

Dissent from a citizen of the United States is acceptable.  Dissent from the softer, gentler side of a terrorist at GTMO is irrelevant, insulting and inconsequential.

Falkhoff, who earns a salary from federal and state taxpayers as a professor at NIU, does not represent the people, but only his self interests.  After all, he is a lawyer.  Representing the feelings and beliefs of and presenting GTMO detainees as gentle poetry writers is unthinkable.

It is ironic how dissention can be considered “mob rule”.  Falkhoff implies his and GTMO detainees voices are only those to be heard.  Think again Falkhoff.  Though some would like to think so, a university is no more a sanctuary for advancing the thoughts of terrorists than the streets of Fallujah.  It is the actions of Falkhoff that are intolerable.

Molly, your 11 month old Peace Action Network needs to give more thought to what is important.  Glorifying the words of men who killed American soldiers is a mockery of their service and commitment to the choices and freedoms you enjoy as a student.  Though you may not understand this Molly, the door to free speech swings both ways.  People will protest at your events.  No amount of police presence will still the voices of those who disagree.  It is equally important for them to be heard as well.  Those with an opposing view to yours, MCC or Falkhoff will not be intimated either.

It is an even greater stain to silence dissension of those who disagree. What do you say now or is it only the liberal who has a voice?
